Oktober Knight Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Yes, every single time. I used to be an Uber driver and they keep a majority of the fare so tips made a HUGE difference for me.
differentkindahigh Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 (edited) Yes everytime. And above average. Even as someone who doesn't make much money. I'm not going to give my opinion on that article. Edited November 1, 2023 by differentkindahigh
Yawn Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 absolutely not uber is so expensive here already
Maxxxine Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 No, why would I tip on top of the service charges, surge prices, taxes, plus base fee. Highway robbery!
OrgVisual Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 No because i don't live in the US I tip delivery drivers sometimes though, when it rains etc.

If they don't pay their staffs and they need to rely on tips
kandicha Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 yes, i always tip 20% because i know they’re not making very much i don’t take uber often though, usually only when it’s very late at night so i’m grateful to be picked up and get home

Mitsouko Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Obviously if you live in Europe or Oceania you don't tip because it's not a thing there. But if you are in the US and you don't tip drivers or waiters or delivery persons, you are scum.
