The Abbott Elementary and Parent Trap star had a lot of thoughts regarding Megan Fox's Kill Bill inspired Halloween costume and how it broke SAG's guidelines.

She also shaded Ryan Reynolds who earlier this month made jokes questioning the aforementioned regulation's importance.

This whole costume drama is so stupid, and makes the SAG strike look silly. Focus on the important stuff please and reach a deal, no one cares about a Halloween costume

Can somebody please explain this to me? I don’t understand why Megan isn’t allowed to wear a Kill Bill Halloween costume?

for this year they made a very pointless rule and actors can't wear costumes are "brands" owned by movie majors.

tbh it's giving capitalist witch, stop being mad that the system outplayed you

isn't she in SAG leadership? shouldn't she be focused on ending this damn strike which has been an economic disaster for literally everyone , instead of tweeting about Halloween costumes?

Posted

it’s a dumb rule but it’s striking that WGA were able to keep a united front during negotiations while SAG is a mess.

So stupid I swear who cares

As "dumb" as a rule it ay seem to some, it's put in place for a very serious reason. There will be ramifications for this.

this strike is still going on? :rip:

but yeah, I “stand” with Megan on the simple fact that you can’t tell someone what they can and cannot post :rip:

Lisa would've not said anything if Megan had not intentionally tagged SAG-AFTRA Instagram account on her Halloween costume picture :skull:

I don't know why you guys acting like she's mad for no reason here when Megan clearly started it all

I root for her but Megan is such a clown like this is clearly what she wanted why would she @ SAG :clownny: just post your pics and go like everyone else is doing (or leave social media that'd be ideal!)

as for the costumes "rule" it might be a bit silly but I get the main goal behind it and people blew it out of proportion, it felt mostly a suggestion tbh (cuz they were likely asked by members about it) why even care so much it's one year...

The thread title is hard to read and should be in sentence case, not title case.

The Halloween ban is stupid, but Megan is even stupider. Why would she tag SAG? That’s beyond disrespectful.

It’s purely the fact that machine gun Megan wanted to make a statement. She’s publicly made a statement against sag and the strike. It’s as simple as that. She could have just worn her stupid Halloween costume and not said anything
