I always thought Björk was Asian or Inuit, but she’s 100% Icelandic. Jessie Ware looks racially ambiguous to me, but she’s Ashkenazi Jewish and White. I didn’t realize Sky Ferreira was Latina and Native until a few years ago.

Shakira circa Laundry Service. As a fellow dark-haired latin american I can say this. It was sad that she felt the need to bleach her hair to have success in the US/Europe. But the early 2000s was very different, that was the ideal like Justin and Britney, you were supposed to be blond and blue-eyed.
