I was just about to say lol Kelendria has a good voice but for whatever reason, she doesn't seem to keep up with the maintenance/growth of it like Bey and Michelle do with their voices. I think Kelly's skill peaked in DC days.

I love both but I think Kelly's voice is way more versatile than Michelle's. There's no way Kelly's skills peaked in DC days when there's a Motivation and a When Love Takes Over.

It is more versatile hence her being able to successfully sing in multiple genres but what's particularly special about Motivation, vocally?

It may be a personal opinion but I find Motivation more vocally challenging than most of her catalog. I wish she would showcase her vocals more.

For instance, there are songs that I really like from her, like Haven't Told You, where she could've shone but she did just OK instead. Everytime You Walk Out That Door could be another example. 

I think she had good songs but for whatever reasons she didn't deliver.

I will give Motivation it's harmonic arrangements. The harmonies are quite nice.
