The Man Who Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 I’m surprised at how many people voted for ‘No’ - what reason do you have to leave the lid open, other than being a lazy heaux?
Delirious Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 (edited) Flushing with the lid closed is obviously recommended but remember, all the poop particles go on the lid SO that means that the lid will touch the toilets seat which you have to sit on. So...if you aren't cleaning your toilet seat everyday, I'd say flushing with the lid open is the best way to go. Yes poop particles do go everywhere but MUCH less on the lid/toilet seat Regardless, you should be putting your toothbrush far away from the toilet & facing the other way (thank god I have a big cubicle lol) Edited October 24, 2023 by Delirious
Delirious Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Also nothing is worse than getting some flushed water on your toilet lid tbh
Yawn Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 yes and then reopen to make sure the poop fully flushed and then close again 2
KMO Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Closed lid. Mine is self-closing so it doesn’t take much effort. Then I spray with a strong odour neutraliser so it smells like nothing after a minute
Daddy Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Obviously. It's no secret what happens if you flush with the lid up...

OT. I keep mine closed or as someone said my cat will jump in. And I keep it super clean so I don't want her exposed to cleaning chems or something.

Maroonx Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Yes, I get so grossed out at the idea of the water splashing out and germs going everywhere
naval23 Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 And if the toilet clogs or has a weak flush then what?
