Well there's always Golden Hit: Season 6 to look forward to in the new year! Obviously nothing is set in stone regarding a timeline, but a spring launch sounds plausible!

At the halfway mark of my song (253). I still have a bridge to write, and of course the third chorus will add up, but I think I’ll still be short of the 500 mark. My pre-choruses are very short, but I don’t want to extend them because I feel like they’re good as is  lettuce pray.

Have you considered adding an intro or an outro section? If you are struggling to meet the word count, I'd definitely recommend adding an additional section rather than trying to bulk up what you already have, because it probably will come across exactly like that. Introducing a new element, such as some background or a look into what's to come, may be a good option.

Currently at 406 words, and that’s without the outro I had in mind. There’s no way I’m writing a 94-word outro  Guess I’m going to have to go against my word and extend the pre-choruses. It’s the only way to make this work
