perpetual novice Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 I do still believe Wade Robson wants money and status by any means possible but it doesn’t resolve the question about whether MJ did that stuff or not
Rev8 Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 (edited) Don't really know what MJ's Niece has to do with any of this (i dont rly follow Wade's saga) but he has been dismissed by judges for having holes in his story. I get people trying to sue MJ, but Wade specifically has lost all credibility (even before "Leaving Neverland") Edited October 19, 2023 by Rev8 2
barbiegrande Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Nobody cares about that Wade guy or his lies 2 2 3

I get people trying to sue MJ, but Wade specifically has lost all credibility (even before "Leaving Neverland") Wade previously stated that MJ purposefully secluded him from other kids to take advantage of and abuse him. When in actuality, Michael introduced Wade to his niece and blessed them to date since they liked each other. Wade cheated on Brandi (Michael’s niece) with Britney. Brandi broke up with Wade because of that incident. But Wade admitting any of this would indicate that he lied.
Rune Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Whether Wade was a victim or not, very clearly having a favorite type of kid and inviting said type of kids completely unrelated to him to spend the night in his mansion with many bedrooms but choosing to sleep in the one with the kids in it is sus af. If he wasn't a beloved celebrity this wouldn't be defended at all. 1

He IS a beloved celebrity and society had psychoanalyzed his behavior way before any of these allegations came out. You can't vilify this man for decades through the press and then get mad he's not "treated like a commoner" when people speak out their thoughts. "Life isn't fair" seems to only go one way with celebrities, and it's only when it's at their disadvantage. Miss me with false equivalence fallacies; he deserves to be looked at in a special way after all of the things society did to him. 1 1
Ayanaa Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 (edited) Doesn't take away from the fact MJ had nude pics of kids locked up in cabinets and has slept countless of times with teenage boys. If this was ANYBODY else, I swear Edited October 19, 2023 by Ayanaa

I enjoy Michaels music but honestly speaking his interaction with kids were highly inappropriate and the only reason why people defend it is because of his celebrity,a stranger who is an adult talking on the phone with kids for hours and sleeping on the same bed with them is suspicious 1

These two can't seem to get their story straight The families' whole premise is that they let their sons sleep with Michael for money, and now we're supposed to give those same families money for that? Where are the sons' restraining orders against their parents? Where are the massive fallouts? Where are the lawsuit against them? There's so many holes in this story to me. Please provide me with more than just hurr Michael slept with little boys and has always been a whackjob durr, because I'm not buying the pedophile or the homosexual allegations. I think he missed out on a large chunk of his childhood, saw the purity in children and confined in them as he couldn't to any adults in his life. His preference towards children in his life has always seemed to be for the complete opposite reasons of a sexual relationship, so please provide me concrete proof of any of these things 1 1
DAP Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Wade can do all that and still have been sexually assaulted. Multiple things can happen at once and independently and a wacko jackal being in denial won’t change that. 3
GraceRandolph Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 What the **** does Wade ******* Britney have to do with MJ being a pedo? 1

I can categorically tell you that if Michael weren't who he was and you were looking at this situation unbiasedly you'd notice a pattern that would give you cause for concern and p.s he made some unsavoury comments in the 80s about child brides, the man clearly had issues and his childhood doesn't excuse his impropriety with kids(even if it wasn't sexual it was still inappropriate)

I've never listened to a full body of work by his and know 4 songs tops. Sh.t I don't think I even watched the full thriller music video, and that was literally a homework assignment of mine in middle school (I'm 23 for reference) I know of his story and what he meant to the world because I'm interested in historical pop culture and its social implications. Huge difference and I don't appreciate your assumption based thinking being projected onto me. What I do know is that I'm sick of this cancel culture that jumps the gun on any cancellation, and I especially feel icky seeing it happen to a dead man who was tormented by that same judgmental media until the day he died. You're right, I DON'T know him, but neither do you and I will not believe the word of some families tarnishing his name after accepting his money in the way that they did.

Point-en-case the type of sh.t people spew just bcs they feel self-righteous enough for cancelling someone Referring to r***e as someone "nibbling on pre-school d" is ******* disgusting No, it's not black humor. Nothing funny was said. It's legit gross. It's pretty obvious most people don't take this stuff seriously on a deeper level. They see a celebrity who's beloved, think that everyone must be blindly loving them and then proceed to have some cult-esque hate boner for them, thinking they saw through the cracks when in reality they're buying into a strung together media spectacle. @Welovetrouble give me the exact interview because I've looked through some of the high profile ones and apart from seeing michael's words misconstrued a bunch of time, I saw a man who saw what a mess the world was and wanting nothing but to help children in need because of it
