You know I initially disliked that and recently rewatched it and was like… this lowkey is better than majority of all the Friday the 13th movies. It’s really good.

Jason seems to be more mentioned in pop culture and he's scarier looking.

 

Freddy has 2 great horror movies (1 and 3) while the Friday the 13th only have good ones at best

I lowkey always liked the reboot for F13th. 
 

The Nightmare on Elm Street from 2010 is one of the worst Movies I’ve ever seen.

Freddy is scarier and has better movies, but Jason is more iconic—from his mask and theme alone. Freddy isn't as instantly recognizable as Jason is.

king Freddy is the whole package. He's got the personality, the soundtrack, the easily recognizable outfit AND weapon, and he's still inspiring new killers to this day 36 years after his first hit. I mean Vecna wouldn't exist without Freddy
