Well she is the only TRULY Talented pop girl we have left after all the others retired or went discovering other sounds

I’ll be genuinely surprised if this is as big as everyone is expecting. This girl has had nothing but bad press for like two years. She’s not in the general public’s good graces right now. She has a very loyal fan base but they’re nothing compared to Swifites. She needs to do damage control or lean into the cunty home wrecker thing and accept that not as many people will fw her. She should honestly just lay low until Wicked comes out because that’s when people will start to forget (or it’ll bring all the drama back up which is more likely tbh). Anyway, she’s not saving pop music so prepare for ur meltdowns girlies n gays.

The doomsaying  Is this "bad press for two years" in the room with us? I would say the only true bad press she got this decade was the Spongebob homewrecking thing, and it really wasn't as big as people on this site think.

 

She was called a  "mean diva" during My Everything and smashed. She was America's enemy after donutgate and Dangerous Woman still did well (I'll give you the Focus floppage, but not like the song was strong enough to fight). She was once again constantly attacked and blamed for Mac's death & Pete's mental health struggles and TUN still smashed. You guys need to realize that "bad press" and hit hate Tweets never really affected her.

 

Ariana has never been "America's sweetheart" in her career, not even once. If the music is good and clicks with the people, she's smashing. People could be writing hit tweets about her being a homewrecking midget and STILL streaming her lead single in the background.

Ariana has absolutely nothing in common with Taylor, I hope the comparisons and the fan wars have been left in 2020 because it's gotten old and boring.

 

Us fans are just excited to finally have a new album to look forward to, hopefully we won't have to worry about people trying to rain on our parade after years of waiting.
