plaidarms Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Premieres 2024 on BBC America, AMC, and AMC+ Synopsis: This is anything but a carbon copy. Three genetically identical women must band together to unravel the mystery behind their origins. However, uniting human clones will prove to be as unpredictable as human nature. Hope this can live up to the standard the original set. 1
Hurem Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 (edited) I'm sorry but the acting from the main girl is really bad. Doesn't hold a candle to the Tatiana Maslany Edited October 13, 2023 by Hurem 2 1

TrashMagiq Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 ooo didn’t know this was happening. I loved Orphan Black, will def be tuning in (and tuning right back out if it ends up being **** skk)
Rune Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I was a fan of the original and this looks like it can't even hold a candle to the third season 2
livelikemusic Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 This looks unique... however, I am not sold on Krysten Ritter as the lead for this series. But I will give it a chance.
flower moon Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 yeah the acting was interesting at times not a horrendous first ep tho i guess
Uncatena Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 not this being released in its entirety in Australia already but it won't be out until 2024 everywhere else? and its making NO noise... oh dear
Fading Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 I am a fan of the original and I dont want to watch this... too soon to be doing a remake 1
noonbob Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 What is the point of this? No Tatiana, no bueno. The original is right there, just watch that.
plaidarms Posted December 28, 2023 Author Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) Wait this randomly came out in Australia/France/New Zealand, but isn’t releasing anywhere else until 2024?? What an awful release strategy. I’ll have to try and find it. I don’t have many feelings going into this, though, because the promo looked cheap and I think Krysten is a very one-note actor. The Man Who Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 The trailer gives me more Detroit Become Human vibes than it does Orphan Black. 1
Lovett Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 I had no idea this was out! I'm going to binge ASAP.
Lovett Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This was actually really enjoyable! It feels different to the original but it was nice to get some cameos of former cast members. I hope it does well when it's released in the US and get a second series.
plaidarms Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 This show has to have one of the worst releases I've seen in ages.

Iceland Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I found the first episode a bit boring and confusing (if we compare to the OG premiere, where Tatiana SOLD it . The only thing that caught my attention was towards the end… Spoiler but I don't like where the original characters are placed in this series. Also what a shitty release strategy its giving me emotion flashbacks
