truly i don't understand it because to me it's the best song on the album along with mosquito. I think it's placement in the tracklist also contributes to this

I’ve had the exact same experience. A new fan that loved Capable of Love and Mosquito and had me tuned in for the album drop. Music releases have been so GOOD this year
