Feanor Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 It seems like even the tour bundle didn't help her that much

Vorfreude Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Tragic numbers yet she managed to outdid your faves numbers. Very tragic, indeed.

In streaming she didn't outdo my fave My fave's single hit #1 on iTunes, katy hasnt done it this era If my fave bundled she would of sold more, Katy didn't even outdo the Chainsmokers who bundled In it's 2nd week it's outside top 30 on iTunes, that means less than 5k sales, Glory was doing better

CTTR was a relative "hit" and Swish Swish would have got a bunch of streams. That seems wrong to me. 17k seems totally right. She was livestreaming for the first four days after the release. I know I was watching her thing instead of streaming her album.
Vespertine Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Omg 17k streaming is horrendous Katy sis... wyd.

And it's 13-14k in streaming and 3-4k from track sales.

The streams are bad though, I thought she would do more there. But who cares I wouldn't say she basically had no support from radio...radio supported it as much as they could. She promoted enough but I think she did the best that she could do to salvage things and save face for her debut and it did well enough...now the following weeks might tell a different story. Seems like personally she's better and more aware of herself so it'll turn out good in the long run

RightAsRain Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Good numbers! Kween! But why is she already so low on iTunes? Also any newsss on Taylor's ssstreaming party? Is sssshe even gonna enter back into the top 20 or ssssomething? I doubt even she was that delusional, it's as someone else here said, it was a diversionary tactic from the fact that she slithered back to spotify after the whole fiasco.

I kinda doubt streaming is going to pick up too much though. I feel like Katy is the type who needs a strong start and doing something where your hardcore fans are specifically not streaming your songs when they're in the new music playlist and everything isn't good for that.
gab00 Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 (edited) the problem is not the first week numbers per se the problem is that she has already released 3 singles, none of them worked and nothing else in the album will work, i just can't see how is the album gonna keep alive/have longevity in sales so i see it plummeting ala Glory. I kinda feel bad for katy cause she is a sweetheart but some of her fans needed to get back to earth, Edited June 17, 2017 by gab00

At the end of the day no matter how much any of these pop girls sell, they're still achieving their dreams and releasing what they want to release. And making millions every year. So what if their album isn't doing very well? They still have dedicated stans that see them on tour, which is all that truly matters. This
