Wasn't Taylor sending her album out with peperroni pizzas? At one point I could buy a Rihanna and Gaga album for the same price as a McDouble. People need to just cut it the hell out. This is true!

Its a double win win for the Tour & Album she is not flopping! Stay Mad haters! They want to see her live because of how she pulls together performances ala the super bowl and how good they think her catalog is previous to this. Do you think anyone heard Bon Appetit or Swish Swish and thought "Oh this totally sold me"? No.

Even the BA video would make people attend + The Name of the song is Witness tour this is not a Greatest hits tour!! The price Tickets are not cheap so I don't think people are attending just because of the hits Or because they want to see a Super Bowl type of show

What do u think attracts people to Katy? Her new songs or her old songs? This is pretty self explanatory. Edited June 13, 2017 by BZZ
Rigalo Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Y'all are doing too much on the bundling thing, i would imagine that the only people going to see a Katy Perry show would have to be pretty big fans lol and surely a majority of the people who got the album thru the bundle would have gotten it anyway.
zoldyck Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Tour bundles do give boost to sales, not all the people going to tour would have bought the witness especially in streaming era since there are lot of other ways to consume music. Also some people getting free copy due to tour bundle would have bought copy if it wasn't for the tour copy. There is no way she was going to open less than 100K even without tour bundle. both sides need to calm down, Tour Bundle inflate sales but not as much as many post posted by some members here.

This is just another way of selling the album. Prince did it back in the day as well. Right. There is no excuse. Its just a promotional tactic. If people redeem the album, it counts. If they don't, it doesn't. Stans are so annoying. I wish my faves would do something like this. 1. Bey's albums are already expensive and 2. Her tour tickets are legit rent money expensive! Who cares why they're doing it, when it benefits the fans more?

elleventhirty Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Why are people so upset about the tour bundle? also, are the predictions staying the same because of the bundle or have new predictions just not come out yet?

Saab Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 You guys have it easy in the states. The standard ticket price in Australia is $150 to $300AUD. I guess that's due to logistics. But when taking in the exchange rate it's almost double

dussymob Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Good numbers for SZA. I expect the album to remain a consistent seller throughout the year.
