PopThatCorn Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Watch her end up doing 170-190K in the end. I doubt she's doing above 200K and even if the first day was strong, the album has no hits or general public interest to push it. Tragic after an era as big as Prism.
ceremonials Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Those are pretty good considering how the era has gone so far. it could go down stoll till but I don't see her going below 175k tbh
Sadie Saxton Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Considering how albums lately have been doing a little better than predicted. MY HOPES ARE HIGH KATY
rowlet Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 its #2 on itunes now how is it possible it will sell this much? will the tour bundles add on that much?

h.u.r.r.i.c.a.n.e Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 OMG HADHADKAHD HES CUTTING 90 PERCENT OF THE WEAVE OFF
Desperate Fantast Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Flopping on iTunes on the SECOND day of release? I wouldn't brag about it. This era is done.

Prism's 1st week was also considered disappointing following an era as big as Teenage Dream and was looked at as a flop too, but if she manages to pull off 190-200k I can't see how it could be considered tragic following the way this era has unfolded and her public perception atm. Especially given the album seems to be getting mixed reactions from her general listeners too. Edited June 10, 2017 by FantasyRide
Mtjjproducer Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 I'm not the biggest fan of this album but I am happy for her. Even when people thought she would fail miserably she still succeeded
Drake Lindo Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 But the REAL SALES? 30k—50k? Imagine buying tour tickets and this counting as album sales lmao
rihannafan Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) good numbers! Edited June 10, 2017 by rihannafan
touya kinomoto Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 It's funny to see people are still fuming! Katy worked hard all her years to get where she is right and she deserves it. Hope that her final numbers exceed predictions.
Desperate Fantast Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) All around embarrassing on the second day of release. Not a chance in hell she's selling more than 50k without tour bundling. Edited June 10, 2017 by Desperate Fantast

This is also her first album since doing the Super Bowl and a huge tour. She should have a lot more hype. Not to mention she's using tour tickets to help sell the album.

ZIVERT Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 She'll be back at #1 on iTunes once the SZA hype dies down. So excited for Katy, I love this album but feared she would struggle to push sales. And with the Spotify deal, hopefully her streams increase
MonsterNavy Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Whew I came tf through! Thats exactly what I estimated. MaRy hew? Great numbers. The album is amazing
TaggedGalaxy Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Very good numbers for Katy. I knew her album would do well

CTTR was well received, it's BA and the controversy surrounding her this era that seems to have put people off. Edited June 10, 2017 by FantasyRide
