One group is currently resisting an oppressive regime and making attempts in decolonization tho. So while there are innocent victims in both territories, the fight that is ongoing is ultimately rooted in Palestinians resisting zionism and genocide that has been ongoing for 80 years. That really doesn't make it a valid comparison. Especially considering the fact that the Palestinian death toll has been around 15 times higher than the Israeli death toll during the last 15 years of this Israel-Palestine conflict (UN data). And this isn't even taking into consideration the very sheer, inhumane living conditions the Israel government has let Palestinians live in as well.

 

Equalizing the Palestinian trauma with Israelis now that both sides are attacking just showcases both the hypocrisy of the media and actually shows you that YOU are the one brainwashed (or you are just a racist who doesn't care about the blood arabs shed)

She has a point, but why is it now they talk about humanity? for years the Palestinians suffered from horrible war crimes and live in a prisoned state, where was this humanity they speak of? why do the Palestinians have to be saints and not be "terrorists"? 

Israel is cutting electricity and water off Gaza and bombing them now, the people that are against what Hamas did, do they agree with this? can they please post something about the civilian Palestinians as well?

I mean, there’s very little legitimate propaganda supporting the Palestinians. Outside of a small network of some chronically online American marxists with $0.35 in their bank accounts that have never actually interacted with a real Palestinian person, virtually no one is “dehumanizing” the Israeli civilians even if they are pro-Palestianian.

Well, that’s the point of propaganda and systematic hate. Nothing wrong with being a pacifist and not wanting civilians to suffer and die, Israelis or Palestinians. It seems like people like to point fingers at each other in this complicated issue

We can empathize with civilians and acknowledge that the dynamics of power between Israel and Palestine are not equivalent. Hamas inflicting violence does not make the Israeli state any less of the aggressor that it has been in this struggle for the past 80 years and no amount of trivializing its role will make it so.

This current war is not about Palestinians resisting genocide. Hamas wants to eradicate the Jewish people even at the cost of Palestinians dying. They won't stop until they kill all the jews. Do not for a second think that Hamas is working in the favor of Palestinians.
