The movie is to convince people who haven’t seen it in person yet to want to go. Or go again. I wouldn’t be shocked if somehow the way she is pushing this movie won’t somehow count towards the tour lol On 10/4/2023 at 2:24 AM, Cbreezy said: This is definitely logical. It's just hard to predict with Bey. In one regard, like you said, the film is the best "promo" for our promo-shy fave. What better way to entice the masses than showing them what they'll get when she comes to their town. For those using the dancer farewells as evidence of it being totally over, it's very common for only the higher ups to know about next plans to prevent info leaks etc. Routing may need to be finalized and they may want to make tweaks that sees some come back and maybe not others. Put simply, there's possibly a lot to work through before any new contracts / extensions for talent are hashed out. So, not sure their IGs are definitive about the situation. However... There are some glaring reasons more dates of this tour may not be the case. She's a capitalist, but even she must know that there's an upper limit to how much $$$$ you can get out of fans in a close frame of time. Making the girls buy premium theater tickets to then try and sell stadium tickets weeks/months later risks canabalizing the demand for the latter. A big part of the Beyonce "thing" is buzz and "FOMO". Seeing this show in theaters may placate/satisfy those who otherwise would have bought stadium tickets to see the same show in person. So, in a way, the most practical, unmessy way of using the film to her benefit is letting it be the last the "world" at large sees of her for a minute. It's a glorious high note to go off on and leaves them wanting more. It's the perfect board to spring from with her next fully fleshed out tour for whatever new music she has coming. And much as I'd want that to be around the corner, if it's not gonna be a rehash of RWT, then realistically we're talking 2025. I hope to be totally wrong and we go through this chaotic window of her doing ALL the things. Tour film (possibly with visuals), new tour, or hell even a new tour, act 2, etc. It's just that most signs point to sis working smarter and not harder and quite literally taking ish one piece at a time. We'll see. I think the tour is over lol. She herself even said + alluded to this not once but TWICE. Once when she promo’d Ivy park literally saying final show of RWT and then again when she thanked Megan and said “until next time”. You’re free to get your hopes up, but don’t get mad later on when she literally gave no semblance that she will be doing anymore dates.

Taylor’s have higher attendance but the tickets are not as expensive from what I’ve heard from ppl who got them straight from Ticketmaster and not scalpers.

If Taylor enable the dynamic pricing she would gross more. If Taylor toured according to the demand she'd have even more dates etc... If we want to compare their touring power, they should have both the exact same number of tickets at the exact same prices and should keep adding new dates in the same places until it's sold out and then we'd see who had the most dates. But this hypothetical makes no sense whatsoever. Beyoncé's tour is beyond massive. The Eras Tour outgrossing doesn't take anything from it. Edited October 8, 2023 by Klein

All I originally said is Beyoncé should extend this tour and if she did she could take the all time record and her next tour could probably break the all time record if she does a full worldwide tour since it seems like this one is over. It’s not a stretch or a dig at eras tour success to say that, but the other user was acting like I was delusional for thinking that’s a possibility

Of course if Beyoncé toured as extensively as Taylor she'd have a chance at breaking the all time record.
Raspberries Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Beyoncé Legion getting dragged all over Twitter for the $20.1M setup
SoJro101 Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 An impressive achievement most wouldn’t have imagined last year. Truly a legendary tour - can’t wait to see the film.
Shelter Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Incredible gross. Houston over 61k per night the biggest shows per night in the US

Popboi. Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 A shame the SoFi dates weren’t $20m each as reported but that was very unrealistic compared to the rest of the tour. My god at it being almost $600m

Shelter Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Her average for the last 10 shows was 13.1 million

No stadium tour is seeing the average per ticket of RENAISSANCE in a while, that's true.

And she did more than that from the US alone and did over 500m without touring the entire globe she meant it when she said direct your anger to her and that she can take it!
