People should be given room to grow and change without being called hypocrites for accepting something they once condemned And no the rest of those things you mentioned aren’t equivalent to what we’re discussing here but i’m sure you know that 13

ZeroPoint Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 I’m an ex Catholic and I don’t know if I believe in God or marriage anymore but if I ever do get married I really would love to do it in the church I grew up going to. I don’t have fond memories of the indoctrination/brainwashing but the architecture is stunning
Bloodflowers. Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Makes sense. Home of sexuals aren't this dark, weird outcasts of society anymore. The general public realized people are born that way and should leave them alone in peace instead of antagonizing them. 1
John Slayne Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 he also said that homosexuality is objectively sinful, as it's always been in the eyes of the Catholic Church. y'all fall for these little PR'd articles way too quickly. the pope is not your friend and he's certainly not an ally. 1
Buffy Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 The article says two different things. He is open but the collective body of the whole Church is not in favor. Pope Francis has suggested he would be open to having the Catholic Church bless same-sex couples. He added, however, that the Church still considered same-sex relationships "objectively sinful" and would not recognise same-sex marriage.

And "the Church" remains as unimpressive and dangerous as ever.

Jotham Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 The Catholic Church's view on same-sex marriage is still not perfect... but this is a step forward. And it's always nice to see the conservative Cardinals seethe.
hétérosexuelle Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 Oh they really want us to become religious good try pumpkin
