JLO has the bigger brand and celebrity but considering how Mariah absolutely destroys her musically, she has the bigger career.

Mariah’s one of the Top 3 best selling female artists of all time while Jennifer isn’t even Top 150 in either music or movie box office. 
 

It could definitely be argued that Jennifer is the bigger celebrity but Mariah’s musical career is much more illustrious than all of Jennifer’s output combined. Especially since Jennifer’s projects are mostly universally panned.

Jlo has been the bigger brand and celebrity for a long while now but Mariah has the bigger career.

When all is said and done, no one will remember Jlo when talking of legends in movies or music in 50 years time but Mariah legacy in music will forever be legendary. One of the greatest divas to ever do it!

It’s closer than I think ATRL is ready to acknowledge.  Obviously Mariah destroys in the music sales JLO has bigger movies, tours, fashion brands.  I’m not sure whose book sold more so I’ll consider it a wash.
