Gwendolyn Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 (edited) A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after one of the most photographed trees in the country was cut down. The tree at Sycamore Gap, next to Hadrian's Wall, was made famous when it appeared in the 1991 Kevin Costner film Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. Superintendent Kevin Waring, of Northumbria Police, said: "This is a world-renowned landmark and the events of today have caused significant shock, sadness and anger throughout the local community and beyond. Duanielipa Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 In all seriousness surely they can just attach it back on because the top half is still there. Just use metal poles or something to hold it in place

Popular Post DougAF Posted September 30, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 30, 2023 The amount of people trying to write off the kids actions as a young kid’s mistake and that he shouldn’t be chastised for the rest of his life. Do you know how psychotic you have to be in the head to go chop down a tree in the middle of the night? He absolutely deserves to be shunned because he had so much time to rethink his choices before he made them. 12 6
Domination Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 I mean it’s not the end of the world but doing things like this is a huge sign of anti-social behavior and this kid should be evaluated. 11

But imo it is alarming It’s like a kid that kills pets, sooner or later they will become a rapist or murderer, they are a danger to everyone alive And if by 16 you don’t know what’s right or wrong there’s not much you can do anymore. Jail and life ruined tbh, he ended an entity with 200 years of life That’s soo soo ****** up
