All I'll add to this convo is that one thing that has been heavily glossed over by the pro-circumcision crowd is that a circumcision is not some benign, non-invasive procedure. There's a very real risk of irreversible harm to an infant's ***** (damage to the glans/head of the *****, excessive bleeding, and infections), over something that's largely done for cosmetic/religious reasons. From my own dive into the literature, most of the benefits of a circ (decrease risk of cancer/STIs) could be mitigated by proper cleanliness and vaccination against HPV. Phimosis, imo, is the only reason I would consider doing a circumcision but that's just my  as someone who was circumcised as an infant (i.e. without my consent ) and someone who is training to be a pediatrician in the US.

Yeah. There is lots of cut who have pain because it’s not cut right or it’s too tight of a cut.

There are proven benefits to a man being circumcised. In the US, most men are. There are things that go against it but to call it genital mutilation? With some countries that do that to women? I'm glad I am and if I weren't, I'd get it done. That's my personal preference. Thank god I had it done as a baby, so I don't remember how it felt. My first husband wasn't and out of all the men I've been with, only three weren't.
