Wasn't there a halftime show this year? Weren't movie trailers released this year? Weren't new albums announced this year? Did I watch some other SB?

Taylor fan or not, you can’t deny she’s very overexposed. The reason why so many people are sick of her is cuz she’s quite frankly everywhere. Not just in music but now sports, too. She needs another short media hiatus like she had before Reputation or it’s only gonna get worse imo

I think artists taking long breaks is overrated af tbh.  Long breaks hurt people's careers more often than help them.  Artists also get addicted to the long break once they get a taste of it. Part of why she's so hot rn is how consistently she releases - why break what isn't broken?

 

I do think after she drops this new album, wraps up the Eras tour in Nov, and drops the last 2 new TVs (who knows if she is dropping these in 2024 at this point), she should "lay low" for just a couple months, like 6 at most. Then come back. She does feel all consuming rn. You can't get away from her. Anytime she announces anything, my entire IG is a re-sharing of exactly what she posted. People are constantly referencing her. I do feel you on that.

 

6 months away would do her good, but she doesn't need to bother with more than that.  You'd be surprised how quickly it can feel like someone's been gone for a long time in just 6 months.

Honestly up until this year I have been a borderline stan of Taylor - listened to all her albums (well Red, 1989, Reputation and Midnights lol) regularly, and even felt a little jealous of anyone who go to go to the Eras Tour last summer. But The past month specifically has made me completely sick of her.

 

Maybe she's overworked, but she rubbed a lot of people the wrong way at the Grammys by treating the whole thing like a f*cking meet and greet, and now she's THE cover image for the Superbowl results this year with that picture of her kissing Kelce on every paper. Imagine how fans of the game feel, or even the actual athletes who are seeing all the attention and credit go to their teammate's girlfriend 

 

The same group of 10 Swifties will dogpile my reply and downvote as soon as I hit submit, and they'll quote me with the usual lines etc... but more and more people are starting to get sick of her bullsh*t and they better be prepared for the backlash cuz it's gonna hurt
