LOL this isn't a re-release... she just added "WAP" to "Bongos" single... If she had re-recorded or remixed it, then yeah, it would've been a re-release.

Anyway, she should just move on to another single, 'Bongos" wasn't it, I heard it like twice and I'm over it already lol

No its not. Normally this happens upon the song’s release to allude that there is an upcoming album. She added this two weeks later and added a 3 year + old song. That is called DESPERACY!

This strategy was way worst back in the 90s when artist would attach a successful previous single as the b-side of their current single to increase single sales, which would lead to a higher Hot 100 position since people would buy the single for the old hit  made the new single look like a smash

Just release the album girl, it's gonna bomb anyways and to be honest NO ONE is expecting her to come up with some lyrically-complex, super-revolutionary high quality record  it just gets more and more embarrassing as time goes by, and it will only get worse if the joint EP rumors are true.

You’re acting like she added the song to IOP. There are so many playlists artists create to bundle similar tracks in Spotify. How would bundling WAP with Bongos even increase streams, like..

obviously bongos was never going to have the same success as WAP but the song could’ve done much better if it had a chorus, let this be a lesson for her

 

doja’s attention underwhelmed a bit too but then she released PTTR and smashed, continuity is the key
