Final Fantasy VIII is the best Final Fantasy game ever.

YES, FVII - FVIII - FXII is the trinity.

It was cute, but the story was not as good as VII and VIII and its gameplay was a bit stale compared to XII’s gambit system.

Best boxart I've ever seen for a video game ever tbh.

VI, IX, XIII (trilogy), VII, and most recently XVI (bumping VIII down on the list) are my Top 5. If we're including spin-offs, Tactics would definitely be up on the list. I wish they would remake VI because there is a LOT of story and content they could expand on with that game and considering the limitations of the SNES, the fact that they were able to conceive such an engaging story with a huge cast was amazing.

Let the rankings start!

From what I've played:

1. FFVIII
2. FFVII
3. FFX
4. FFIX
5. FFXII
6. FFXV
7. FFXVI
8. FFXIII

I also played I and II on the PSP. And remasters of III and IV on the DS. Loved them all, but I don't remember them that well...

I still need to play V an VI.

FFX is my favourite game of all time! FFX-2 definitely woke me up to being an *** :clap3:

I've played every mainline FF game but there's some I have yet to actually fully complete (I couldn't bring myself to finish FFVIII for example)

I have 16,000 hours in FFXIV - but I haven't played in about a year tbh :skull:

I'm an obsessed FFVII hater but I did start playing the remake recently. It was lowkey kinda eating :gaycat1:
