I think is more aggressive(besides of the fact that she's a clickbait magnet and the biggest popstar on earth) because such response is actually required. I mean for gods sake they were trying to spin her 55M dollar bonuses negatively on her and that initially didnt even come out from her team, or that time when Demi wasn't impressed with her helping Kesha financially, but in these instances she's smart enough to not go at it and just let her actions speak and then again tabloids still want a piece of the cake.

Why do you assume Taylor could walk anywhere in New York and not be photographed? Sure it’s a possibility this was staged. There’s also a possibility that they were randomly papped. With celebrities we’ll just never know. Not all pap shots are staged, and even IF this one is it’s odd of you to assume it’s Taylor choosing it at this stage of her career without even considering maybe Sophie wanted this? She’s a celebrity too and maybe she wants to send a subliminal message. Who knows.
 

And at the end of the day if it is Taylor doing it “at this stage of her career” literally who cares. it’s because she has the demand for it — and she’s allowed to market herself however she pleases because it’s gotten her this far. She got to where she is by being ambitious and success driven, not by being concerned with what she should stop doing at a certain age just to please online users

And still... why does it bother you if they staged a pap pic? Truly, I think you should unpack what is wrong with that and why you have an issue with it. Firstly, I don't think they had to stage the photo op. Given the crowd of people who were gathered there waiting for Taylor, it's not like the paps had to be called to know that Taylor and Sophie were there. Secondly Taylor and Sophie have been friends since like 2013 and have several public interactions in the time since, so it's not like they randomly decided to hang out for the first time to get headlines. Either way, if the paps were called and this was staged I'm almost a million percent certain it came from Sophie's camp, because what exactly would Taylor gain from the walk? She and Joe Jonas were on pretty good terms the last time they interacted, and I don't think she held any ill-will toward him (at least until the divorce, through which it's obvious which side she's on). The message this sends from Sophie to Joe is far stronger than any reason Taylor might've had to call the paps.

 

Really, it strikes me that everyone who finds this "annoying" or "aggravating" are just looking for a reason to be annoyed or aggravated with Taylor. Try to find something a bit more concrete to be annoyed about before coming in here talking about orchestrated and conniving this picture is, and let these two women destroy Joe Jonas with just one picture in peace.
