I always felt like the hate Taylor got was OTT but so much of what she does these days is contrived and performative... it's annoying af and it just makes me tune out everything she does which sucks because I genuinely like her music but she definitely gives off manipulative vibes. Cuz let me tell you, once you realise ALL famous(singers, actors, athletes everyone you see on tv) people "manipulate" the media to have control of their image and career you'll finally find the light. You saw what happened with Britney, Janet, Katy etc etc? With Taylor being on these levels of famous everything is gonna be magnified and spun out of control if she doesn't firmly have control on it

True. She's actually rly smart because I think she refuses to let the media tear her down the way they did during LWYMMD era. But at the same time her current tactics get tired after a while but if I was in her position I would do the same thing tbh esp in an industry where there's always some new young 20-year-old looking to take your spot (I'm not talking about Liv) but it does come across manipulative tho which as u said, every celeb does. Hers is just more aggressive.
