An old story but we need something in the US where we start trophy hunting these rich old pigs with enough money to burn that they think killing exotic animals sounds fun. We could hand out prize money with the wealth they stole from the people.

It broke my heart when I visited a sanctuary in Chang Mai where they bring the ones abused for tourism in Thailand. Some of them were so broken and scared and it was so visible in their eyes. (The sanctuary didn’t allow any feeding, riding or bathing. You would basically hang out and see them from a distance unless the elephant wanted to approach and interact with you).

That baby’s mother is probably in distress and grieving horribly. They’re very smart and emotionally intuitive animals. 
 

As for those humans, I hope someone or something rips them apart limb by limb, douses them in salt and lemon juice, and sets them on fire.
