Plastic Hearts is one of the best albums of the decade so far. I still use it almost on a daily basis.

Plastic Hearts is literally a pop-rock masterpiece. It’s actually wild how under appreciated it is. GUTS is just very juvenile to me, it’s definitely meant for teenagers like Olivia which is fine. I prefer the mature sound of PH!

It’s Plastic Heart for me for sure, hands down, all the way through.

Oh to be back in that era. I wish she’d milked it more, honestly, it’s been my favourite album of hers.

 

Someone else mentioned Olivia’s album sounding juvenile, and that feels accurate. It really is for a younger audience than me, so it just doesn’t… sound very good to me. That’s fine, not everything has to.
