Weld_E Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 No one even remembers the nominees or who won what, people mostly tune in and talk about the performances. Her loss. 3

orange22 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 She could have been nominated but also it’s the Video Music Awards and none of the videos from SOS were anything to write home about so

mrpartyrocker Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Ugh the entitlement of it all. That’s why award shows are not great any more, these new artists just show up for their awards and won’t put in any effort in their performances. What about this man remembering that SZA is where she is because of her fans, not because of him… the least they deserve is performances. it’s like saying Gaga should’ve pulled out every Grammy performances bc she was snubbed many times for album of the year (biggest category)
fememeist Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 (edited) Stans of white artists telling a black female artist to accept whatever’s given to her? I have to laugh. Queen’s decision is not detrimental to her career, but it’s so ******* funny and telling of how peoples’ reactions are to xyz artists not doing the conventional thing they want them to do. Snooze is already top 10. What's the purpose? A legit snub? She won an award and was nominated for multiple categories. She wasn’t going to win against Taylor any way, even if she was nominated for artist of the year. I mean come on… don’t be delusional. and are you saying art is defined by what and how many awards you have? Lol

Junlin Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 This liar is nowhere close being artist of the year. 4

If the manager feels they should be nominated for artist of the year at the VMAs and they don’t, they are all in their right to not be there. Edited September 17, 2023 by fememeist

Do you think anyone would’ve looked and sza and said “oh look the girl that was nominated for artist of the year at the vmas”…

liquiddiamonds Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 SOS is objectively the second biggest album of the year after Midnights and it just scored another top 5 with hits showing crazy longevity in the US. She’s the biggest black female artist in years, her acclaimed album is coming for 4 million copies by the end of the year, and she still can’t score a nom for Artist of the Year at a past expiration date award show. Imagine with how racist the Grammys are the mess that is incoming… Yeah I’m siding with SZA here. She’s 1000% right in knowing she OWNED this year. Ask the other AOTY nominees to perform 1
