Right, LAU Lara's personality was a great balance that showed a slightly softer side to her and it was enough.

I really don't need Lara to be relatable and "omg we are so alike because I have daddy issues too".

She is meant to be a figure that we aspire/thrive to become, but never will. She is (well she was) that *****!

Pros - Loved the Braid, beautiful Braid.

The classic elements in the outfit were cute. 

 

Cons - I didn't like the stupid under shirt, like why? Her breasts are small and she has no cleavage. Was it necessary?

That UGLY ******* necklace, stop trying to make it happen, it will never have the iconic recognition that classic Lara had.

and finally, that monstrosity of a face! They did her so dirty, like realllyyyy bad.

She is so plain and basic, you wouldn't even look twice. This is not Lara. So if this is anything to go by as to what we will get for TR12 then we are screwed.

She is the original live action Lara Croft, and she made Lara iconic in her own way on the big screen.

Lara always has to have a resemblance to Angelina, tbh. Seeing the movie poster for the 2001 film was a moment for me because Angelina looked just like how I imagined Lara Croft to look if she were real. They shouldn’t deviate from that. 
 

I agree with people saying Lara Croft shouldn’t be relatable. I think the LAU personality was the best iteration of the character. It was enough for us to see her softer, vulnerable side but she still was a certified badass with wit and humor.

I always thought this AOD model was gorgeous! I remember seeing this (not this image) in a gaming magazine way back when.

I remember when I was a kid playing a game and there was this jungle level and tigers and med kits, is that level in any of these three games? 
 

Anyway I remember enjoying a lot Underworld because it had cool levels and it was more Indiana Jones-ish, then the last trilogy was amazing but kinda boring with the same location and not so much globe throttling, well Tomb Raider (2013) was amazing and I finished that one twice.

 

I’m so stocked for the upcoming videogame since they said that she was going to be a seasoned Lara (maybe with a protege or a son!!!) and also the Amazon Prime show with Phoebe!!! 
 

And the last movie was entertaining and it did kinda well at the box office, Alicia was great as Lara, a shame that they canceled the sequel but we won because we got the Prime show and I think that will be way better, what a time.

2007 & 2008 still makes no sense to me. All the effort that went into Legend just to then release a remake of TR1 and the borefest Underworld that completely removed the action-movie vibe? 

 

Like...they really had no idea how to follow up on Legend
