You can listen to whatever you like but it doesn't make you better than other people. kinda weird angle to come into this thread with when the majority is zara larson's stans coming out from the woodwork to say, "it doesnt matter if zara was directly inspired by hannah, hannah is a flop so....." 1

collin Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 This is a hilarious situation Both sides being pretentious and annoying as of either of these girls have ever truly done anything groundbreaking for art or music. I love them but but lmao. 2
Robburro Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 oh god can we go back to the time we argued against dua lipa stans because at least she was talented and released decent music? 1
4Walls Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Zara fans exposing themselves to being the most delusional ever as if Zara herself isn't a try-hard floppy pop girl who has made NO noise in like......years? Why are yall so bothered by such a small indie artist that nobody cares about huh? Hannah Diamond being influential is a literal FACT in the music industry. You can hate her music all you want, call her a "flop" but she's a legit pioneer both photography and sound-wise. Zara's team clearly was influenced by HD and her peers. Thats it lmao 4 1 1
Thin White Duke Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 It's one thing to copy the picture and aesthetic. But having the same title as well on top of that... Nahh It's so blatant it legit made me think it's some sort of a PR move.

Abracadabra Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Where's the apology mentioned in the title? Also, not people actually acting like Zara was being unfair for thinking that Hannah had perhaps copied her considering the pretty much identical similarities in aesthetics and the exact same title. It's totally fair enough that that has been Hannah's aesthetic from day one, but it's also totally fair enough that Zara wouldn't be that familiar with her work and would be surprised to see the similarities. Hannah clearly understands that, and Zara hasn't even been rude or unreasonable about this so I'm not sure why people are attacking her. 2

4Walls Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Ngl if it weren't for Zara trying to check Hannah on social media and do a whole "gotcha!" moment...this argument wouldn't even be a thing idk much about Zara but.............dont come for my girl just cause you're oblivious free promo for Picture Perfect I guess 1
Gyal Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 hannah basically said a lot of nothing and i feel like the apology wasn't needed 1 1

That doesn’t mean what Pc Music doing isn’t miles ahead artistically of anything Zara, Ava, Bebe or any of the bland hook girls have done. PC Music is pop music pushed so far that it is cartoon-like in comparison. I don’t hate regular pop music. I dislike boring regular pop music… like Zara But that doesn’t have to do with this. The only reason I said anything about artistry is that Hannah literally pioneered this creative direction as a photographer with PC. I’m talking about the visual component. 1
