This is not donde están los ladrones, she doesn’t have anything to prove, not every single has to be a hit. Maybe she’s trusting Afo to ride it out before the album drop. Manuel is on tour song was certified, maybe this band is going on tour soon and they need another hit.

Well Shakira thanked him in his speech for always trusting her vision or whatever. I'm assuming they have some sort of deal where she has total creative freedom and whatever budget she wants (probably not an issue since she never really cares to do anything super high budget) and all she has to do is do charity collabs here and there when he needs her to. So both are winning in their own right.

This is not true or else us fans the media wouldn't still be asking and anticipating one. I don't know what's the hold up or why her label isn't giving her a deadline but this has gotten out of hand and ridiculous at this point. These droplets are starting to have the opposite effect since she's been at this since June 2018 give us the ******* album pendeja and if you have that much material give us 2 albums back to back then she can decide if she wants to hang it up or not but she said so herself she needs to make up for lost time after putting her career second to pique

Her versatility is kind of insane. I suspect she won't give us another "big" single off the album until the release of the album, cause they need a hit for the album release. That's why I think we will get Origami or the Cardi B Collab by the end of October. Various insiders said the album comes the 27th.

Tbh I think she was trying to secure her name in her main markets again. Let’s be honest she was more focused on that a hole, she was even considering retiring.

 

karol bad bunny Rosalia and rawu were all practically carrying the Latin market for years, Shakira was not going to get another laundry service era on her own, it’s obvious these artists benefit from collaborations now days. 
 

thing with Shakira is very rarely does she collab with A listers she usually does for a lead single, I get why she kept choosing these collaborations with artists that already peaked, she gotta be the protagonist while helping the artists with numbers  win x win
