Yikes. So Afo Verde strikes again using Shakira’s status to boost his flop artists.

It's funny because you were all complaining that it was Peso Pluma.
Now it's not Peso Pluma, and you're still complaining lol

Well, Peso Pluma is one of the most successful artists of the moment. That group she is going to collaborate with is not very well known. Maybe someone from the record label asked Shakira to collaborate with them, to promote them, and since Shakira collaborates with whoever nowadays... :rip:

Or maybe she wanted to...she's not a sellout, remember we used to have feats with Gustavo Cerati.

Not you comparing Cerati with that group. I'm sure Shakira liked the music of Cerati, Alejandro Sanz, Maná (legends).... That's why she collaborated with them. These collaborations that she has done lately seem like forced (I know that nobody forced her). But I find them very curious. Besides, it has been one after the other. She never used to have so many collaborations, let alone one after the other.

Fuerza Regida? :skull:

I have slight hope she thought this could be a great chance for her to bring the "old Shakira" from Ciega, Sordomuda back while still jumping on the bandwagon of a trendy music style and therefore make old and new fans happy.

If not... damn, wasting all the hype she had after the Session 53 and TQG by not releasing an album is absolutely baffling. If her album ends up flopping after having 4 smash hits on it, it's absolutely and only on her.

This is what I thought. It could be a great opportunity for an old Shakira style ballad (with a touch of regional mexicano).

But at least Gustavo Cerati is a legend in Latin America and they gave us No, Dia Especial and Devoción :cm: and only one them was a single

She knows she can't pull decent numbers with an album nowadays as much as she does with trendy disposable collabs. An album would definitely fly under the radar and I think this is a smart way to keep her name relevant.

At least Peso Pluma would've drawn more instant interest.

It’s just dumb that Shakira got all that media attention only to release a song with some random group that isn’t even popular.

She could easily pull collaborations with big artists, at least.

Now she'll have both the Spanish government and the cartels behind her back:redface:.

Just because you don’t listen to them doesn’t mean they’re not well known. They’re literally one of the biggest bandas right now :rip:

How is it a mess ? This is the most consistent her team has ever been. Being ran by mainly women.

I think Jaime Levine is doing a way better job the ceci kurzman.

This is not donde están los ladrones, she doesn’t have anything to prove, not every single has to be a hit. Maybe she’s trusting Afo to ride it out before the album drop. Manuel is on tour song was certified, maybe this band is going on tour soon and they need another hit.

Jaime Levine did a great job, but she’s no longer Shakira’s manager. I’m not sure who is now.
