She didn't clap for Demi, and I loved it. She's been showing love for Demi since 2018 and getting no love back. It's about damn time she just ignores her. Let Demi fall into oblivion, just like she's falling into.

Nicki stans are just dumb at this point. Dragging her because she didn't lift her hand up because she was on her phone... just ******* grow up. Everyone gets on their phones during award shows.

The Olivia meme was ok.

And through it all she supported her collaborator and committed to him, stayed until the award delivery. She didn't sit with her friend, she sat with him, took it all as a professional commitment. That's it.

For the sales, i didn't find any reliable source for WW sales from Nicki's albums, so we can't tell by it. Billboard says Selena is at 11,5M album sales on US alone.

 

What accolades and pop culture moments are you talking about? Support **** people shouldn't be an accolade, don't you agree? 

 

Plus: Selena has her acting career, with real multiple accolades, including nominations and wins in all the biggests awards shows. She has her Rare Beauty brand that alone is bigger than Nicki Minaj would never be. And not least important: her social media presence talks by itself

Selena is quite a forgiving person (Hailey drama for example), so if she didn't feel like supporting someone who showed nothing but hate towards her its more than valid.

Selena isn't a C - list as much as nicki isn't as well. 

Both are solid A at their peaks for sure. 
 

OT : I don't get the whole situation, I think she was iconic for serving ACTUAL REACTIONS, and not just standing there. Besides the cameraman legit only showed Selena and Taylor, I bet Nicki/Cardi/Doja (and even Demi) didn't vibe with a lot of the stuff that went down yesterday but they weren't shown.

One thing I do agree on is that she does complain alot.

 

I saw a bunch a Barbz dragging her on Twitter for being on her phone while Nicki was speaking in an isolated 10 sec clip. Now while the Twitter Barbz are having a meltdown over it is psycho behavior, the truth of the matter is Selena could've just ignored it.

 

Social Media is worse than ever when it comes to celebs. We just had some chronically online girl make a tiktok claiming two celebs hated each other based off a 5 sec interaction. People are more unhinged than ever and these celebs need to either.

 

1) stay off social media

Or

2) hire a social media team, get thick skin, and ignore the "memes" and negatively about them online.

 

That especially includes people like Selena.
