HandsInTheAir Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 none of this list is one to remember (well maybe except Bad Blood) her most iconic videos are: YBWM, 1989, Blank Space and LWYMMD Flowers deserves more

Whoever has the more votes wins. bc it’s not whoever has the most votes but whoever has the most chronically online stans who wins if taylor made the best music video of all time and lost to BTS sitting in front of a green screen only bc they have even more rabid fans than her y’all would be the first ones to call fan-voted awards fraudulent and unfair 1

Vroom Vroom Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 The biggest surprise is that they keep giving her the best director award. It was understandable for ATW. But to award The Man and Ant-Hero for directing That long unfunny dialogue scene in the middle of the anti-hero video is the epitome of awful directing. Everyone standing stiffly shouting their lines
Nico Robin Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Only Bad Blood deserved tbh but good for her
R.E.M. Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 she's one of the only A-listers who actually shows up to the VMA's so I'm not surprised.

There's no objective way to evaluate art so it always comes down to who has the biggest fanbase, who 'plays the game' (e.g., campaigns for awards), and/or who makes art that appeals to the widest demographic. Award shows are a fun part of pop culture but stans put way too much emphasis on them. 1
byzantium Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Olivia was robbed. But glad to see Taylor won. Either way ATRL lost.
