I could see her doing one as a full-service travel package a la Kylie but with even more expensive packages and 0 regular tickets, otherwise the economics don't make sense for either her or the casinos.

well. generally the only artists that do vegas residencies are acts that are unprofitable to tour (logistically, commercially etc) so they just settle for playing in one venue in Vegas ( a touristic city that is known for fun and lavish spending) so basically the costs of transport are 0. and only their superfans + casual tourists attend the show.  also sometimes it's because the artist is just not ambitious or wants to settle down (Adele, Bruno) but that's the exception

gaga is more of category 2 than 1. britney was controlled by her father. it's easier to keep her under control in one place

I think Taylor is more likely to do a residency in NYC or Nashville compared to Vegas.

 

There is always going to be enough demand for Taylor to tour stadiums but I could see Taylor having a residency after the Eras tour to have a break from traveling and allowing her to have a more acoustic show.  Maybe if she ever has children, she might want to do a residency.

 

But Taylor has been pretty clear, she loves touring.  So any residency would just be for a year or two between her continent hopping tours.

Also she can't play in a mini theatre let's be serious look the mess it was to get tickets for a LONG stadium tour imagine with like 1/20 of the tickets available

It’s possible but not for a long, long time. At least 2 or 3 decades.
 

I could see her doing multiple residencies in stadiums around the world… that very well might be the route she takes for her next tour.

30 shows in Singapore

20 shows in London

15 shows in Australia

She’d sell out easily.
