9 weeks in the top 10 for SN TV would tie Red TV

40 weeks in the top 5 for Midnights would tie 1989

Yeah, actually 50K SEA. That's why he's having to keep selling his actual albums at such dirt cheap prices & with these "incentives." He lost 1000s of Meltdown downloads Thursday night before midnight for promising preferred ticket locations with proof of Meltdown download purchase. So far he's avoided pissing BB off again.....yet.....& I can't figure out what loophole he's using to do this without violating BB chart policies. But without sales Scott would be behind Zach Bryan & Morgan Wallen.

according to reddit, the $5 vinyls also generally had free shipping. so that's even more obviously just losing money for chart positions.

well, he knows that kylie cosmetics money isn't running out so i guess he doesn't have to worry.

Wait, $5 vinyls from Travis? He is basically giving it for free… does he care about making a profit from this?? Wtf

Chart over profit, a true Reverse-Taylorian expedition :bibliahh:

I mean for PR purposes, it make sense to push as hard as possible for that big splashy first week debut & sales number. But this is the fifth or sixth week since 'Utopia' has been out, so is another week at #1 really worth selling that many vinyl at what surely must be a loss? Idk… :ninja:

This. I thought those old ass albums will collapse after the tour ends.

Its nice to see they are still holding up well enough.

The Eras Tour movie will boost everything up again

If that's the case I'm really surprised BB didn't believe Scott stepped too far in this matter. I remember they refused to honor sales for albums under $3.50 which I assume is for digital & CD. But I would think that BB would consider the "free shipping" for $5 vinyl an "incentive" in the sales process. I don't see how he's losing any less money than EDIT: AMAZON'S PROMOTION OF Gagas BTW 2011 opening week at $1, which led BB to create rules to prevent Promotion of artists that virtually "give away" albums to boost chart performance in their 1st few opening weeks.

After so many years, people didn't realize that this was an Amazon promotion, not a Gaga or her team promotion.
