Hearing a rumor that Ben Affleck directed a music/doc about the recording of "This is me... now" for Netflix. Both the album and the movie should come out OCT 11.

Where did this rumor originate from? I find it hard to believe because the film was created with Amazon Studios and directed by Dave Myers. Also, Jen and Ben are part of SAG’s union so wouldn’t be able to promote such works as long as the writers strike is ongoing.

I’ll go. Still can’t believe they made her share her Superbowl Halftime with the equally iconic Shakira.

I know! They each deserved their own SB HT show.

The same could be said for jlo in US and latino America she would have sold out arena and stadium shows.

I don't think JLO has the power in Latin America that people in the USA thinks... :gaycat6:

She's a latina for the US people but a gringa for the latinos :swim:

if that Karol G girl is selling out stadiums and grossing 10M, Jlo could easily do that isnt it? :rip:

My thoughts exactly lmao Most of the people who even to her tour didn’t even know much of her music. My friend went and said folks was googling lyrics!

Jlo has been clowned on the past few years on tik tok but all she needs to do is shut it down at an award show to remind people since I’m guessing they forgot how she killed Super Bowl lol

People start using her phrase "Mi gente latino" as a joke and to mock artists that use Latin American culture to promote themselves. :deadvision:

From a reliable insider who also shared album/single release info for Shakira, Doja Cat, Kelly Clarkson, and many more. Not entirely sure about it going to Netflix, but the Oct 11 date seems to be on lock.

I can see her doing ok in Latin america if she book arenas, a stadium tour over here I'm not so sure. I mean of course everybody knows who she is and her music but I don't see her having sold out shows in stadiums tbh.

You all really underestimate the power of Latinos in the US. After the pandemic there have been like 12930829472374 latin  acts that are doing stadiums in the country :rip:
She's only hated by US gays 30+

But she could label it her retirement tour to generate nostalgia and put a B-List act as the opening (like Pitbull or J Balvin). :gaycat2:

1. Latinos don’t care about Jlo.

2. Only Bad bunny and Karol G have done multiple stadiums in recent years.

Jlo could book stadiums but believe me, latin people is not her audience :rip:

Honestly it’s bigoted of many of you to say she would only have success in cities densely populated by Latinx people. As if Latinx only stan Latin artists. J.Lo’s audience is actually very diverse and you would know if you’ve been to one of her live shows before. You need to do better and learn how to be less prejudiced!  :gaylocat1:

JLo may be a flop musically, but her name is still huge and attracts many kinds of audiences. I feel like she’ll have no problem touring stadiums at all.

J.Lo's audience is diverse and is in more than just cities with heavy Latinx population. That's not the point.

The point is about filling stadiums and who has a proven track record in turning out in large numbers.

The track record based on her films is that Latinas turn out in droves for her and will fill seats. If that's her goal, clearly that's part of the targeting.

i think she can do stadiums in East Rutherford, Miami, LA, San Diego, Sabta Clara and maybe Dallas.

she can also book small baseball stadiums elsewhere like in Atlanta, DC, Boston and Chicago

She can book stadiums in Mexico (Triple dates), PR (triple dates), DR (triple dates), Brazil(Triple Dates), Argentina, Peru, Chile, and even Colombia. Jennifer is a massive attraction to Latin America. Just because 15-23-year-olds on Twitter (X) are talking trash doesn't mean that the age group 25 -65 won't pay big buck to see Jennifer. She is still seen as a massive Latin diva and goddess in Latin America. Especially in Mexico, PR, and DR. Don't play with her.

yes if it's true it's gonna be a global tour. Cause you can't make a stadium stage for only 5-6 dates in the Us. So it's gonna be global.

With the right promo she can absolutely make at least one date in some big european city too.

No one is being bigoted we are expressing how the past decade or so she has been catering more to the Latin audience. She collabs with only Latino artist mostly. She doesn’t do rnb/hip hop like she did on her debut eras. She focused more on Latin market.

Peso Pluma is doing stadiums and they came out of NOWHERE

and Chile all she has to do is a lil tribute act to Selena in the middle of her concert somewhere and it will go viral and Latin people will eat it up. She may even try to milk Marc Anthony a bit. She’s crafty!

My coworker went to that mess. Her girlfriend is into Spanish music so she was trying to teach herself the songs before attending. People underestimate the amount of locals that go just to go. However Karol g is younger idk if younger folks would spend a good dime to see someone half a century years old twerking several hundred yards away from viewpoint

I figured when her ex dragged her out to that Beyoncé show in 2016 she was seething to herself trying to figure out how she can pull off a stadium tour too. “If she can do it why can’t I?”  She was on her phone the whole show. Happy it’s finally coming to fruition for her!
