Mystical Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 She’s like the only decent entertainer nowadays so I’d definitely go to her show tbh 1 1

J.Lo's cross-tab numbers with huge Latina female turnout in theaters for so many of her films (Exhibit A: The Boy Next Door) will translate here as well, but not with the same ticket prices or total dates. With ample marketing, time, decent ticket prices for her bracket, and no more than 16 dates I could picture a sell-out stadium tour in the U.S. Global legs are an entirely different discussion. I actually think Pink might be a better comparison to J Lo, than Taylor or Beyoncé. When Pink first announced her stadium tour this summer, I had doubts that it would sell, and felt arenas would be a better fit for her, but then she started selling out all over the place. a little off topic, but I'm kind of surprised a Madonna Greatest Hits tour isn’t playing stadiums, and is instead doing arenas around the US, but perhaps that may be due to her personal preference for arenas.

Madonna's likely last big worldwide tour deserves arenas to be honest. So much acoustically gets lost in stadiums, particularly open air. Still epic but the songs don't get lost. As for P!nk, that's the best comparison (except in Australia, an unusual asterisk in the entire global music industry with loyalty to her).

The same could be said for jlo in US and latino America she would have sold out arena and stadium shows.
Happylittlepunk Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 There is no doubt jlo would have a sold out stadium show especially after the Super Bowl. She make it better if she has people like pit bull, Enrique Iglesias or even Ricky Martin opening for her.
Sergi91 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 People here are underestimating JLO. She’s a household name and people want to see her perform + hear the hits! 1

DoubleRainbow! Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Hope it’s only in the US, cause in Latin American countries she isn’t beloved so I doubt she can sell out stadiums here 2
Blue Rose Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 These are really big markets. She can pull it off. I say add Chicago and Houston for a cute 5 city tour. If the announcement goes well, then add a couple more shows
Zoe_ Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Nowadays, a name is all you need, especially with the celeb ibsessed culture we live in today. Jlo has the name but she also has the hits and skills. This tour will smash. 1

Noooo that would be kind of an insult to those 3… they’re fine co-headlining their own tours. I say anitta would be a perfect opening act for her. Since anitta has that global appeal and is about to crossover.

PieceByPiece_KC Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 I don’t see her having enough support for a stadium tour

Kingdom Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Lmao...she is about to really embarrass herself. She will flop with stadiums
Devin Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Stadiums seem a bit ambitious but she is a performer so it prob will sell well.
DanceAgain Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 (edited) Of course she can tour stadiums who would even doubt that, Not people thinking Jennifer struggles to sell seats Some of Her attendance figures from her last Tour (It's my party) Inglewood - 29.3k Toronto - 29.1k Miami - 43k MSG- 28k Chicago - 28k Russia - 43k (Dynamo Stadium) Tel Aviv - 57k And she had no issues selling out 13-15k arenas throughout North America (she had nearly 500k attendance in her last US tour and that was only a summer one). It makes sense for her to do a Stadium tour, instead of 2 back to back shows at one place just do the 1 stadium show. She could easy do 25-45k per stadium And the ones trying to shade her, its hilarious your trying it considering her last summer tour did $68 million in north America with 0 stadiums and only 37 shows. Jennifer is definitely in a position to do stadiums the figures also confirm this. Edited September 5, 2023 by DanceAgain
shyboi Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 (edited) Since Shakira is out of the question she should do a joint tour with Xtina! X-LO: Never stop, never stopping Both latinas! It makes sense Edited September 5, 2023 by shyboi
