Bears01
The 70’s was a great era for rock n roll. Many iconic bands debuted/broke out during this decade. Which of these bands has the most iconic legacy?

Bears01
I voted for Queen, but I can certainly see an argument for Zeppelin especially and “the Dark Side of the Moon” is probably the most significant album of any of these acts
Holiest Dreams
In terms of name recognition/legacy, it feels like a tie between Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, and Queen imo. I can’t really decide between those. Honorable mention to AC/DC. Edited September 4, 2023 by Holiest Dreams
Space Cowboy
Pink Floyd. Their 70s run is just flawless. DSoTM -> WYWH -> Animals -> The Wall

JoeAg
out of these, Fleetwood Mac for sure love Pink Floyd and The Eagles! and Queen is certainly a band that existed but Fleetwood Mac felt unstoppable and really had such a wonderful sound, which gave them 2 masterpieces and then 3 more excellent albums with its most famous line up gotta say though... Big Star deserved to have been the most iconic 70s band especially for this song in particular...

Mystic Boy
Pink Floyd are by far the most innovative musically, listening to their music is near a mystic experience. You can still see on the daily people with their album covers on their shirts. Their vinyls are always among the best sold yearly. They're the most iconic without biopics and streaming playlisting to help their legacy.
