I mean, they’re not one-to-one, obviously, but Olivia did say in an interview that the part of Deja Vu people thought sounded like Cruel Summer was inspired by it. It’s complicated since there’s really no magic threshold where we can definitely say something deserves writing credits, and some people won’t really hear them as being similar enough to warrant it.
