Oh I agree with you on that. Madge has also never pretended to be something she’s not, Taylor on the other hand is all about friendship and feminism but then she takes 50% credit from the success of a young upcoming artist who’s done nothing but being extremely vocal about how she idolizes her

This is all Olivia’s fault. She got too close speaking on Taylor in 2021. In the industry you have to be VERY careful if you speak of Taylor Swift because Taylor Nation will come after you. Taylor personally didn’t do anything to Olivia but their teams clashed. Something must’ve happened with TN and Conan Gray too because he also used to be a vocal swiftie.

Not sure where the "she used Taylor" comments come from when she blew up before we even knew who Olivia Rodrigo was. Then she simply talked about her inspirations and idols like any of our faves have done when they were asked at the beginning of their careers. 

 

It's not her fault Swifties loved that Olivia talked about Taylor because Olivia was breaking records left and right (it's always nice having the hottest artist of the moment praising your fave), and they acted like Olivia belonged to them.

I don’t think so. He’s just Olivia’s bestie and knows what Taylor did to her. Iris Apatow (another Olivia friend) doesn’t post about Taylor anymore either. And she and Olivia had even talked about getting matching 13 tattoos for Taylor at one point.

Paramore's team also got 50% thou. And it's Olivia's team approached Taylor's camp first, not the other way around.
