Horizon Flame Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Billy Porter's Met Gala Invitation 'Revoked' After Calling Anna Wintour a 'B----' Over Harry Styles' Vogue Cover Fashion fight! The glittering world of glamour threads has been rocked by an explosive clash between Billy Porter, 53, and Vogue's formidable editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, 73 — leaving the Emmy-winning star in tatters, RadarOnline.com has learned. In a recent interview, Porter called Wintour a "b----." "The repercussions of Porter's big mouth have been swift and decisive, as his invitation to the all-important Met Gala was revoked and his once-favorable standing with top-tier designers has been shaken," squealed a source. https://radaronline.com/p/billy-porter-met-gala-invitation-revoked-anna-wintour-harry-styles-vogue/ 1

venuss Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 As expected. He still made some points though. 3
Popular Post ugo Posted August 30, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 30, 2023 kinda deserved you can make your point without calling someone a ***** 29 6
Popular Post ShouldersSideways Posted August 30, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 30, 2023 It's important to note it's the context in which Billy called her a *****, too. Quote “That b---- said to me at the end, ‘How can we do better?’ And I was so taken off guard that I didn’t say what I should have said,” Porter said of his conversation with Wintour, which was, “Use your power as Vogue to uplift the voices of the leaders of this de-gendering of fashion movement.” So she asks for input, you don't say anything, and then you're mad six months later when one of the biggest pop stars in the world is on the cover and not you, a C-lister. So you resort to calling her a *****. She's possibly the most influential person in fashion and is 73. She has nothing to lose by not inviting you. 42 2
Nido Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Well duh you can’t just casually refer to any woman as a ***** to make a point, especially a high profile figure in a public setting like that 3
Johnny Jacobs Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 He is so insufferable, no one owes you anything chill with you rants. Good for her. Who would invite someone who insulted him to his event? 9
discosean Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 What did he think would happen if he said that? That she would kiss his feet and then bring him champagne, caviar, and scantily clad twinks? 2 6
popmusicisdead Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 it's the entitlement for me. no one owes you anything. not putting you on the cover of magazine and certainly not inviting you to their party 8
kataraqueen Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) I don't think calling a woman a b**ch is ever appropriate when done by a man, even as a term of endearment (unless you know her and she's obviously fine w/ it), so let alone as an insult Edited August 30, 2023 by kataraqueen
FreeXone Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Good he became insufferable. He cried boo hoo but could have spoke up. Meanwhile he had no problem accepting all the awards for pose while the trans women didn’t get ****. Oh well! 5
nostalgic Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Bitter loser got what he deserved. Now he has more time for apartment hunting 1 2 3 1

loveisdead9582 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) I mean… there was a much better way to go about this. Let’s be real… even as a c-lister he obviously had a way to get in touch with her to let her know his feelings. She opened the door, he let it sit open, and then he wants to be mad that months later after never responding that Harry got on the cover??? No. You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Billy didn’t even bother to try to follow up and is mad that Anna couldn’t read his mind? No. Invitation revoked. Deservedly so. If he is going to use his fame as a platform, this is a very basic question to have an answer for. Edited August 30, 2023 by loveisdead9582 1
Zoomer Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 As she should! The level of misogyny it takes to comfortably and publicly call a woman you barely know a “*****”. 4
thetea Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 not surprised. why would you call the person who runs the met gala a b*tch and expect to get invited if you're a celebrity, you really need to watch what you say.
Marry The Gods Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 goodbye to his try-hard red carpet arrivals 2
JustHoran Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 The A-List popstar wins again Someone tell C-List Billy Porter that he isn't as big as he thinks he is and that he has an apartment to go look for 3 1
Bimbo Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Good. That was disgusting to read and now just like he told the trans women of Pose, he’s gotta wait his turn (to get invited again) 4
