Her schedule for her Hannah years must have been INSANE. And she was touring for Hannah too. She's prob TIRED of it just like Hilary Duff. Not yall calling her lazy when yall want a less than 40 hour work week. She was working 80 hour weeks with travel since she was 12! The irony.

I think because of how stan culture as a whole is aging and how young she started, people don't realize how long Miley has been grinding. She's been active nonstop nearly as long as Britney was when Glory came out or Madonna when Music was released. She's had a hell of a run.

I don’t get why that touring comment caused so much backlash here. Celebs are people… if she hates touring then she hates touring it’s literally as simple as that.

Everybody knows Disney acts, especially the main ones like Miley, Demi, Selena, Hilary, were overworked af. It's not surprising they barely lift a finger to promote their stuff anymore. They must hate the industry.

It’s mostly interviews and a photoshoot according to the video. Have you ever tried school? We were up at 5 AM too  She’s 100% right in coasting on her privilege and she was overworked (for millions). We just don’t feel sorry about it or think its the hardest thing ever lol

It allowed her to be where she’s at and even have her stance on touring without harming her pockets or not fully promoting her projects. It was a clear choice that she doesn’t regret or holds it against her parents that prepared her (and her sister) for the industry. Why should we feel sorry for her again? Why the the pity tears that she’s tired based on a schedule she had 17 years ago?

and they “not intentionally” expose them to a world of drugs at such a young age which I always found to be so creepy.

I'm not pitying her, moreso questioning ATRL's general narrative that Miley is some lazy nepo baby who didn't work for her success. 

 

People are probably quick to ignore Miley's hardships as a child star bc she remains strong, happy, sober, and coherent. It's sad that people only show empathy for child stars after they've been completely destroyed by the system (Britney, Amanda, etc)

Miley reflects on her past and she says she was overworked during her childhood/teenage hood, so she doesn't feel like working on an exhausting schedule anymore. That's why she did the "this girl deserves a endless summer vacation now!" little joke. As an adult, that's not what she wants for her life anymore.

A schedule like this for a teen is literally crazy.

Right now people still forget there's a lot of work that happens behind the scenes (so not only live performances or tours): photoshoots, plannings, meetings, filming videos/promos, recordings (music, interviews, promo) etc. So I'm sure she still has lot of daily work but not as she did when she was a kid.

I don't care Miley is a millionaire, fortunately she was able to survive a ****** up system and managed to make bucks out of it, which is not the reality for most of us. Yeah, the world is ****** but that doesn't mean we can't strange a child being overworked.
