If you want to continue the show just do it with finn and jake or other loved characters not this gender bent nonsense. Its a worthy continuation of Adventure Time. If you loved the original, especially the Simon episodes, you'll enjoy this one with the nods to the main show and the unexpected story. It sounds like your just over it Watching it is rewarding if you’re a longtime fan, it wastes nothing of the lore and just continues to expand the world.
