I have some questions regarding the Top 20 PH chart and local acts in general:

1. Is it a weekly or monthly chart?

2. Do PH artists release full-length albums often?

3. If so, how many new albums by PH artists are released on a weekly/monthly basis?

4. Assuming only 1 huge local singer releases an album that week, wouldn't their fans stream the F out of it just to dominate the whole Top 20 chart?

 

side notes: I'm glad to know that people actually pay for music streaming and digital music services in PH, because I know some SEA countries just let their people stream and download music legally for free without paying a dime, which results in no full-length album releases but singles, simply because if no one wants to pay artists for their music, then there's no point in making a full album at all.

See You Again charting real high because of Youtube is a mess too.. like if thisll be the case songs will be charting for more than a year.. and top10s will stay there for 30 weeks minimum..

We Don't talk Anymore charting high than Attention because it is still slaying YOUTUBE.. on the other hand Attention is slaying SPOTIFY and still increasing in YT.. 

 

songs will be staying  top10 for 6 months minimum I swear if YT will continue to influence that much.. like Closer and 24k Magic charting within the top10 because it charted big in Youtube and Despacito charting low because it's not slaying Youtube PH even if it's number1 in Spotify PH.

top20 isnt albums.. it's local songs by Filipino artists..

 

album charts is yet to be launched.. album chart can be made weekly tho since tthere's international artists releasing every week while there's at least local act who will release album within a month..

As per the hosts of the LS earlier, wala pa daw nag-gagather ng local radio data sa Pinas kaya wala silang magamit. But they'll add it on the computation as soon as may magather nang radio data.

Sistema ng Radios sa Ph is not as organized and good as in the US tho. The charts are better off without them.
