Fitzswiftie Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Finally some good country tops the streaming charts
Mordecai Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 The country industry blackballed her but Kacey still stays winning 2
teenager Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Streaming this song right now because Kacey deserves
Archetype Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 I’m confused, has country music historically performed this well on streaming in the US? I swear when I looked at the charts last year there were barely any country acts. Did country fans suddenly join streaming this year?
Gabe² Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Kacey winning even after Country dropped her after 1 song

Did country fans suddenly join streaming this year? there was a slow transition ever since 2020 of streaming demographics, the big reason hiphop dominated late 2010s was because the audience was the first to transition while most country and pop still stuck to iTunes/YouTube, country listeners came up late and the catalyst that really showed how much they shifted to listening behavior was Racist Wallen.
