To be fair “Disco” came out during the pandemic. People were distracted. The stink of “Kiss Me Once” was still prevalent during the “Golden” era, and it wasn’t pop Kylie, it was country pop Kylie. It was a necessary departure for her. She’s been building up to this moment and she owns the rights to all the BMG songs. BMG has been very good for her.
