My take after a couple of views is that there might be a vague concept here that turns the whole ‘touch me’ tagline into a metaphor for inspiration and creativity, as in ‘the muse’s touch’. It’s very obvious that the only ‘real’ characters in the video are Dark Kylie and Pink Kylie, while the others are visions. 

The Showgirl has a minuscule role, but I’m pretty sure she’s a key element and I took her as the ‘performer’ that connects the two sides of Kylie (the way she balances between them on the table made me think of this). So in a way it feels like the larger-than-life hologram is the muse / inspiration (notice how Pink Kylie is looking up to her trying to learn her moves), while the Showgirl is her love for performing personified, both of them being what unites the two different sides / moods of hers.

 

Anyway, baby break the play count

I read this theory elsewhere that the pink Kylie is the OG Kylie and the black Kylie is a representation of her label/the industry which is trying to control her and turn her into a Cher-wig Kylie (a la a big glittery, cunty superstar), and when the two sides of Kylie come to an agreement the result is showgirl Kylie. Ultimately she leaves the place still as herself (pink Kylie) but the Cher-wig Kylie is now also a part of her.

Honestly regarding her material ever since Aphrodite I was always like "I probably will not be playing, but I hope she gets huge success", and even Padam was in that category, but this one truly is a collapse. I really miss this Xenomania style of pop music so if she keeps this energy throughout the entire album, it will for sure be her best since Body Language for me.

Yes, we're 100% getting extended versions for the entire album like she did for DISCO considering how well that sold in a week (although the vinyl is giving DISCOunt at this point on every retailer).
