It sounds like X too particularly Cherry Bomb. The piano and four to the floor beat reminded me of Aphrodite particularly and the vocals are produced like Kiss Me Once to me.

I think the verses sounding gibberish gives the song a “cool” factor, and makes it less of a basic dance pop tune — almost a surreal enchanting tone to it

 

The verses and her delivery of them make the song a gem

I agree. She could've easily gave us an album filled with midtempo contemporary adult pandering songs, but nah, she went into her electronic-pop bag and she's delivered so far.
