YES!! 30 years since this ICONIC ORIGINAL television series made it's debut on FOX!

 

Following the lives of six friends (sound familiar? ) living in the Brooklyn Brownstone making their way through careers, relationships, and of course...LIVING THE SINGLE LIFE!!!

 

Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, TC Carson, John Henton, and Kim Fields brought us the fun, drama, and laughter through the magazine owner Khadijah James, actress Synclaire James-Jones, lawyer-turned-alderwoman Maxine SHAW, stock broker Kyle Barker, handyman Overton WAKEFIELD Jones, and forever fashionable diva Regine Hunter!

 

Unfortunately, it was cut short of its prime, only lasting for four and a half seasons when it deserved way more than that up into the 21st century!

It’s one of those iconic black sitcoms I’ve grew up watching. I have very fond memories especially hearing the iconic intro.

Latifah was used as the vehicle to get it funded but she was literally the worst actress, always had flat delivery and her storylines were always SECONDARY to the other 3.
